Across the Lines - Tracy Chapman

Min syster var på Tracy Chapmans koncert i Stockholm igår. Jag är så avundsjuk. Jag fick veta för sent att Tracy skulle komma, då var biljetterna slut. Det ska tydligen ha varit en helt fantastisk koncert då hon bland annat sjöng en av mina gamla tonårsfavoriter, Across the lines. Innan hon började sjunga, så hyllade hon även Barack Obama. Sången handlar nämlige om de rasskillnader som fortfarande finns i USA, men som Obama lovat stort att försöka råda bot på. Det är en otroligt vacker sång, som tål att upprepas.
